On Sunday, Nov. 5th from 4 — 6 pm, Larchmont Avenue Church will be hosting the HOW Green! Sustainable Sunday Series program “Rooting for Trees“. Keynote speaker Andrew Reinmann, Assistant Professor at CUNY Advanced Science Research Center, will document how trees play a major role in combating climate change. Trees contribute critical services to our ecosystem, supplying clean air and water, fertile soil, rich habitat, and high levels of biodiversity. Discover the best native trees to plant in our communities, how to care for them, what our municipalities are doing about trees, and how you can get involved.
